With S from Bridge of Gairn up hills to north and west. A bit worse weather than expected (and hoped for), cold, damp, windy and squally showers. Ended up with lots of kit on. Struggling from start - legs a bit tired from yesterday.

Saturday Oct 10 #

Intervals 16:00 [5]

8 x 2 + 1 from Dinnet on railway line. Chose 2 mins so could try pushing bait harder than 4s. I think it worked, but breathing still the limiting factor. Return ones were +35 secs faster over the 4 (but downhill and slight tailwind).

From Boddomend car park. slightly quick on way out, but trying to get knee lift and that tends to make me quicker than just shuffling. Slow back.

Post box run - then along to Aspen lane and riverbank path and back on Deeside Way from east. Still struggling with breathing bit. Legs felt OK but didn't want to do any surges on the return.

Cambus training. Steady round course, some nice running but legs tired. One error (compass!).

Deeside Runners - did 2 hilly loops and one flat then bailed. Not getting any pleasure from it so no point pushing things.
