Mortlich via Aboyne Loch and back via direct descent and Boddomend. Tried a different line off Mortlich, won't try it again... lots of gorse and broom and a really slow line. Feeling a bit tired and plodding much of it, tried to pick up the pace along DW on return and it did seem better. Right achilles niggling just a little near end.

Muir of Dinnet - A93 car park - west - gingerbread house - loop path - butterfly loop - back. Taking ti steady, very windy but dry (overhead if not underfoot).

Swimming 6:00 [2]

Followed by a short dip in Loch Kinord (shoes and tights on, no top). Thought I was going to die for first minute but settled down and ended up with 6 mins. A wee dash back to the car after this and then heater full blast all way home:-)
A great wee dip - must continue with them all through winter, feel really invigorated after.

to Turiff to pick up van from garage. Pleasant to Inverurie then a sly head wind for most of rest... Half an energy bar after 1-50.
Nice sunny day and pleasantly mild.

working all day from leaving at 0730 - getting home at 1900. A bit of walking and even some jogging round with tutor coaches.

home - riverbank - Bellwood - A93 - Deeside Way - home. Took it nice and steady - aka slow :-) and enjoyed it. Lots of flood debris from the past few weeks rains.
