Saturday Nov 14 #

steady run 38:00 [3]

Dess Woods and abbreviated northern loop - had to get back for JROS Zoom part 2... Pleasant out and legs feeling OK. Uphills not great

Friday Nov 13 #

rest day

Thursday Nov 12 #

steady run 1:00:00 [3]

Loch Kinord 10km route with Deeside Runners. Nice pleasant social run but struggling for last 10 mins or so - not sure whether pace increased or I got tired!
Nice evening, mild, dry and pleasant company.

Wednesday Nov 11 #

orienteering race 39:00 [5]

DNC Crathes. Nice short course (4.6) and all in the nice west end - and even better a large scale map! so I could read it easily (when I looked). Hd a few wobbles and then almost blew it at last control (thought I was south of hill and north of it instead... Just corrected without too much time loss...
Felt quite good in terrain - as long as not too steep uphill!

steady run warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Out track to NE of car park.

Taking Tuesday as a rest day has meant I'm feeling much fresher on Wednesday and thus have enjoyed the DNC much more than sometimes. But I'll wait till we have a really tough forest before claiming conclusively that this hypothesis is correct :-)
