To/from Potties for club training. Legs tired so a bit of a grind back up the hill :-)

Control collecting, gently round a few controls picking up markers and getting pine needles down my neck :-(
Pleasant day for coaching, not to cold and some good courses planned by SB. Lots of fun and learning.

steady run 2:30:00 [3]

Lochnagar, had expected a solo plod, but saw 2 runners ahead of me when going across the river. Realised they weren't getting away so gradually tried to push a little and eventually realised I was catching them. It was SP and ME, - caught them just at top of landcover track, so good social run/walk after that to top (saw a few on way up but suddenly at the summit there were about 15 others...
Back down Glas Alt and lochside- SP went ahead and did long way round the loch. I was glad to just plod home with ME. Resisted the temptation of a swim but it was easily warm enough. Had one face plant near waterfall - classic foot scuff and down. Missing a bit of skin on right hand but nothing major.
At end saw JE and one of the other runners who was with him when they passed my on Carn Ealar way back! Small place Deeside :-)
Pleased at how I held up over the distance and even the loch side track wasn't too bad - had couple of wee breaks to ease off leg muscles but nothing too bad. Maybe my big 6zero plan can work ;-)

DW east, down to river, along to Warren Cottage - to ILPH road, Old Deeside Road to edge of Bellwood, cut north to A93, Boddomend, DW from west.
Legs tired and a bit achy (hill run yesterday or too much driving?). But kept plodding along and quite enjoyed it. Slightly dreich day but some brighter spells.

6x2+1 on Deeside Way towards Aboyne on old railway section. Felt the need for s shorter session as still feeling tired from weekend plus Monday sessions. Was short but felt very grindy. Glad to get it out of the way!

west to DW and back. The section west of the Dess Road is being renovated :-) and the sets of gates are going :-) :-) :-)

new term, using foam rollers. Surprised at how good balance on it was.

Academy run club. DW to west, along main road, Rhu-na-Haven road, sprint to corner then back along riverbank path and Bridgeview road.
Plus 5 min warm-up pre meeting.
Pleasant afternoon - great rainbow before we started as rain cleared to the east :-)
