Out back of the cottage and playing around the hill tops. Roughly figure of 8 loop. Never moving quickly! Ground very wet and whole area is incredibly rough.
Weather had cleared up nicely and felt warmer, even a bit of sun!

Along track towards the Bone-Caves. Amazing stream with upwelling along the Glen and then it vanishes completely - limestone fun and games! Saw track up to caves but not enough time so headed back. Got utterly soaked by shower - hailstones then torrential rain, even flooded my wellies…

With S up Sgòrr Deas & Sgòrr Tuath. Bit of a path to start but all pretty boggy and rough, onto ridge of Cioch Beinn an Eoin and much nice - outcrops of Old Red Sandstone with thousands of wee juniper plants, never more than 1cm above ground level (grazing or wind, or both?).
Bit of a flog up to top then steep decent to Bealach Beinn an Eoin and a steep wee push up second hill. Very windy and a bit of a shower on climb but tolerable. Decent into the Corrie to east and then tried to pick a line along slope abounding the worst of the bogs and rocks.
Tired legs by end, but nice day out.

Dess Woods and fields. Feeling remarkably poor today - no bounce, just plodded round. Possibly rib/back aches or jags affecting me.

Note

Saw EM re back - she diagnosed damaged ribs and muscle spasms. Nothing major and some work really loosened things off. Couple of stretches to do regularly for a while. Feeling easier by evening.
Probably originally caused by heavy fall at Scottish Champs then exacerbated by intervals and hilly run, leading to muscle spasms - body trying to protect damage.

Small ball and resistance band. Feeling fine, back still a bit sensitive to some movements but improving.

Academy run-club. Only 4 kids with RC & WB as leaders. West then riverbank track, short stop for stone skimming, paddling then back thru woods and Swedish housing estate.
TBE & Tet jags this morning, starting to feel a bit off.
Fell asleep for a while soon after getting home.
