O Training 1:00:00 [1] ***
20c

walked it but was good navigating. ingrid came round so used the oppurtunity to ask her details on map and to check i was going round the right way. debate n chat on route on what noise a goose would make. only control i had issue with was no 17- not bad out of 20 controls

doubles. bloody hard after the weekend

Sunday Feb 22, 2009 #

O Training 1:30:00 [3] **

beginners course at hetherig (?) - easy enough :-) managed to get easily and relatively quickly

long leg course. once stopped being a ranty cow did ok, was good to have rhys shadow and was particularly pleased with execution of last leg. like sanddunes...not difficult running. though my legs look like they have chickenpox

Saturday Feb 21, 2009 #

O Training 1:00:00 [3] **

beginners course on bethcar

me and rach l hung control number 2 and then went to check control 1 and 5

and then returned to start. Then went and collected control 3

Run 2:30:00 [5]

went up old man of conniston. it was effing difficult. i cant do climb- fact. held everyone up on the way up and then after 5mins of descent was relatively fine but still essentially completely screwed...as ash said decided selthwaite pub would be nicer

Thursday Feb 19, 2009 #

Run 40:00 [2]

Warm Up/Down 10:00 [2]

jogs up the length of the park, drills, strides, etc

Intervals 26:00 [3]

small loop, big loop -then decided it was too creepy on my own so instead on running like a relay me and joan did it at the same time- big loop, small loop, big loop, small loop, big loop, small loop.

big loop was a higher intensity than the small loop

Wednesday Feb 18, 2009 #

Run 1:00:00 [4] 6.18 mi (9:43 / mi)

run from cobden view, up lygate lane, through graveyard, through stables, into rivelin, along rivelin, up to manchester road, through crosspool, through broomhill to the octogan. running with non shuocers dropped them off at bottom of lygate lane, from there picked up the pace a bit more to the union as wsant chatting and it was downhill

Warm Up/Down 15:00 [2]

Track 35:00 [4]

rough guesstimate on time of session

4x 1000m with 4x200m catch up with group

felt really good so did a 5th :-) if truth be told felt good enough to do a sixth just couldnt seem to make the legs go any faster...its normally the tother way round.

Circuit Training 45:00 [5]

Sunday Feb 15, 2009 #

X Country race 42:30 [5] 9.0 km (4:43 / km)

no rain but had every kind of ground conditions possible, mud, snow, ice, more mud, stone and dry sand (?!). 1:15 off my PB :-)

Warm Up/Down 20:00 [3]

Thursday Feb 12, 2009 #

Run 45:00 [2]

run to endcliffe, warming up stuff, drills warming down stuff. run home (i wish someone would turn my streetlights back on so i can run down my street :-()

Intervals 25:00 [4]

eek i had to run the session tonight initially scary but actually quite enjoyed it.1lap, 2laps, 1lap, 2laps, 1lap. 1mins recovery. my laps were smallest as the aim of the game is for us all to finish a lap at the same time. was harding going-soft snow, icy puddles and hard ices but to be fair maybe easier to stay upright than in the mud

Stretches 10:00 [0]

Tuesday Feb 10, 2009 #

Run 1:00:00 [3]

run to track AND back with zanthe and lucy

this is a very big first for me. was pretty quick on way down for me and a real struggle on the way home as it was after training and because i am a girl of the fen and it was uphill on the way home. please i did it tho.

Warm Up/Down 10:00 [1]

testing the ground, a few drills and strides

Track 16:00 [4]

couldnt use track as my spikes are in norfolk. useful. so we did running hard across the diagonal on the throwing field and jog along the width of the thowing field continually for about 16mins.

Stretches 10:00 [0]

everything ached after circuits and the added run home. even did the itb stretch but think im doing it wrong as it barely ached compared to rest of the stretches

Circuit Training 50:00 [4]

Warm Up/Down 5:00 [2]

Tuesday Feb 3, 2009 #

Run 23:52 [3]

wanted to test the legs out to see if i theyd be up for track tonight- they moved therefore they'll be fine

from mine- up sydney road-up school road- along crookes- down main broomhill road- along marlborough st up northumberland and along crookesmoor rd.

prob 3-4km or no doubt even less if its not round a track i can never suss the difference.
