From home to rach frs to somerfield to endcliffe park to the swings back via fulwood to home.

Nice run with rach fr, loz and ingrid. Relatively slow i.e. chatting pace as most of us hadnt seen each other for a while

Walking (Up a ski slope) 1:30:00 [0]

Now i know walking will get me abuse but it was hard work! Gaz wanted to run it originally but i was on hol and was not running up a massive on my hol. we walked to the top of this ski slope and further to the cairn in ankle deep snow in places and its was REALLY hot. very surreal. was going to go on a little further to get to the top of feldsberg (highest point in the black forest) but the views we could see from the top of where we were amazing and we didnt think it was worth treaking down and then up again just to get a little bit higher etc.

Ran to a lake called Windgefaller (i think) possibly about 3.5k there. stopping to take photos of us standing in the snow- gaz got shin deep. Ran back on a 5.5k route but this had a great chuffing climb on it. and it was vvvv.warm so i walked the majority of the climb and still felt awful. The time is lots due to walking and photo taking.

urgh a week of pretty much no training. however 14,000 words to my dissertation and passed a mini bus test. going to germany tomorrow might get a run in the black forest next week shall see.

4*1000m with 200m jog recovery. felt awful but really glad i managed to do it all.

4*150m strides/sprints with kelly, with 150m walk back. legs felt less like lead after this.

Midsummer 5 race is prob not going to get its permit next year due to a lot of the race being on the a10 so we were trying out a new possible route. i like it. its not all on roads either which i see as a plus. The last mile was run as hard as possible.

was flying and i have now became as fast as the 40 year old men as opposed to the 60year old men. progress!

Run race (Northern Road Relays) 17:26 [5] 2.36 mi (7:23 / mi) +492ft 6:10 / mi

Good race, wish i was quicker as considerably slower than the rest of the team but hill drained me of energy.

Run round course with all the ladies; 10 min warm up before my leg and 10min warm down.

waited whilst hannah n clare did a time trial

4x200m fast with 200m jog recovery

3x150m concentrating on style and acceleration

nice little run with gibbons. stopped to walk 3 or 4 times. was nice to get out and run after feeling poo for the last few days. felt a bit quesy half way round tho.
