Run race (Northen 4 Stage Road Rela) 22:31 [3] 2.79 mi (8:04 / mi)

Really good race, apart from the last 100m where i was really going well had wound it up for a sprint finish on the track and my stomach decided I wanted to vomit and therefore finished across the line in more a walk than sprint and then hopped over the hurdles to be sick. However the rest of the race was very good. Overtook 1, got overtaken by 1 and played continual overtaking and gettting overtaken fun with a lady fro altringham who i eventually finished in front of. Think i can take between 30secs to 45secs off my time.

In the results I am down as Lucy tho as bizarrely they thought she was running and so I ran 3rd leg instead of last.

Track 15:00 [3]

urgh im an idiot

Session was 12x400 with 60secs static rest.

I forgot I've had a weeks long training so set off hard and speedy. however could only manage 4 and a half reps. pathetic. should have done what ash did and have my sensible head on.

Orienteering 1:01:00 [3]

Orienteering 15:20 [4]

Club Champs.

Did controls 1 to 4 and then caned it back to the start. Best I orienteered all week.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

TD3 Course really difficult though cos of all the felling. terrain was difficult so walked it and managed to orienteer just about ok. Wierd to judge distance in that kind of terrain

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3] 3.0 km (30:00 / km)

AAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHH Orienteering is so chuffing difficult.

Set off about 2 mins after Zanthe. Found No.1 Easy peasy. Set off for number two hoping to use vegetation boundaries and contours. Didn't work couldn't find it. So went to the path and thought lets see if we can find 3 nope not that either couldn't relocate so went back to control no.1 (which i struggled to find) and then took a good bearing and followed it very slowly. Shminty, treb and ralph pass me at this point making it look like a walk in the park. Felt very stupid. Found No.2 following the bearing and then no. 3 no big issue. Decided to use the bearing technique to number 4 as couldn't make head or tail as to what rides had been mapped. Bumped into ingrid and jane in which ingrid tells me I'm a bit off track. I stumble onto the path and find Zanthe who looks equally as annoyed as me I yell 'I hate orienteering' her reply has too many expletives.

me and zanthe then do the rest together it takes 30mins for two seperate controls. Lots of expletives later and we've decided on improvements for orienteering, bigger brighter kites, more obvious maps and perhaps a siren system on the control to indicate whether your 'hot' or 'cold'

Orienteering 25:00 [3] 2.0 km (12:30 / km)

Relay- we managed to convince dave to shorten the course. Came last. Struggled but not too bad part from the last control where I made a 90deg error.

Orienteering 25:00 [4]

Small Control Pick. Rhys shadowed me. Felt like I was orienteering well. And like I can finally use bearings.

Orienteering 15:00 [3]

Tried to do the short course by myself. Did first 2 controls and then really couldn't find number 3 so gave it up as a bad job and it was peeing it down.

Track warm up/down 40:00 [3]

Warm Up before Hammer, before 400 and before 200

Gerenal Athletics 1:00:00 [3]

Hammer, Javelin and Discus. 3 throws of each.

Track race 1:12 [5] 0.4 km (3:00 / km)

Good race, very windy hence slow time.

Track race 31 [5] 0.2 km (2:35 / km)

200m race.

Bedford track is amazingly quick if only it werent so winding.

Track race (Relays) 10:00 [5] 0.5 km (20:00 / km)

4x100 and 4x400

The races took only a matter of secs but because my team have amazingly poor organisational skills and major faffing meant i ran backwards and forwards a million times trying to sort it.
