Track warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Track 30:00 [3] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)

4 sets of (500m, 100m jog, 300m, 100m jog).

Set off at a silly pace for first set (wasn't far off zanthe's heels- VERY silly)
Then second 500m died. Was about to give up but gave myself a pep talk and decided to do my session by myself and actually worked pretty well.

Not many people at track tonight and when there's not many people the gap between me and the back of the group is large and I get a bit despondant.

The most delirious circuit training ever.

Very hungover pie.

Orienteering 42:00 [3] 2.0 km (21:00 / km)

SPOOK Relays Leg 2. Endcliffe

Dream Team Zanthe and Charli.

Enjoyed this. Felt like was running pretty fast. Had map orientated completely round stevo so lost bout 2mins there.

Defo an advantage having lived in the area :-)

Orienteering race 25:00 [3]

Not sure what time I did.

Really detailed map, every tree was mapped.

Really enjoyed tho embarrassingly, was the last one out and so neil was following me around collecting controls. By time I got back everyone had gone :-(.

Orienteering (ShUOC City Race Prologue) 21:27 [4]

Really good race tho map was confusing to start with so many red lines though i was going cross eyed. Rach passed me out of control 2 and then I passed her on the way to 3 and then she passed me on the way to 5 and then spent the rest of the race trying to catch up.

Now I mispunched number 8. Before we started we were told no. 39 and another control had been stolen (I couldn't remember whether it was 42 or 48). So I got to the patch of grass was like im in the right place, checked my control descriptions and saw it was meant to be on the inside of the fence looked at the control number and it was 42 and as 39 had been entirely taken away by the time I got there. So carried on only to find out that I mispunched. Boo.

Think that control description comes down to experience to be perfectly honest this is the first time I have ever used my control description and even using them I managed to mispunch both days :-( .

On another note I would have come like around the 12th mark on my course if I hadn't mispunched...on the womens course not a novice course...well chuffed...

Orienteering race (ShUOC City Race Chase) 31:01 [4]

Thought I ran pretty well but I miss punched AGAIN.

Was actually majorly pissed off about this at the time. Slightly less bitter now. No one gave me control descriptions before the run and no one informed me the control description were on the back of the map. I didn't realise you could get them on the back of the map.

So when I got to the control outside the galleries all I had to go on was the circle, if I had known where the control descriptions were I may have been able to find it.

But then I was in the last batch to run as had mispunched so suppose I was pretty lucky to be able to run. And it was wet and miserable.

Decided I dont like running at the end. Did it in both in the chase and the prologue and meant that I doubted the controls were not there cos of all the rumours about stealing.

Track 24:00 [4] 4.0 km (6:00 / km)

4x1k reps. Recovery dictated by when the guys doing miles finished+ 1min. which pretty much was my 200m jog back to the start.

Felt suprisingly good was expecting this to be horrendous. In such a good mood that I dont want to do this gay piece of minewater cwk that causing a massive stress. but have to :-(.

I want SPOOK weekend NOW!!!!!!

Run 1:10:00 [3]

went for a run with big pete off my course. A lot slower than normal as pete hasnt run in ages.

Home-school road-cobden view rd- bolehill-stables-rivelin-short cut up to a57 via a field-a57-lydgate lane-school rd-home.

Cut it short as pete wasn't feeling it and we've both got lots of work to do. if i get enough done, and cook tea early shall hopefully make syo night as finally found my compass- bottom of my fell shoes bag.

Warm Up/Down 20:00 [3] 1.0 mi (20:00 / mi)

Limitted warm up as traffic was mental on way to track which wasn't helped by my poor route choice.

Where my 4min rest are others did a 2min rep. But i put the extra rest in in order to make my session better. This way I was able to keep with Rach E at all times. Whereas if I tried to slog the whole thing out I think I would have dropped off the back, got demotivated and gone very slowly.
