Hour of pain with a crazy Italian lady. Mainly back, think she was amazed/appalled by my hamstrings. Worringly everything is tight: back shoulders, glutes, hamstrings, shins, quads, Achilles/lower calf

Back achey through out shin sore until warm. Back was better when running out of slippy icy lane 1

Knee/leg pain a lot better today after doing a fair bit of walking...most bother I get is when it gets cold

sharp pain in back of left knee (poss hamstring??) when getting up or straightening or bending it more than 90 degree. hurts a lot when walking

also random back spasms whilst at desk and eating dinner

session was 400,800 with 6x400m and 5x800m at 5km pace

i did one 400m and 500m of the next 800m before pulling out with a very sore back.

did a load of stretches at the track but only had gaz's jeans for warmth and so got cold very quickly :-(

Does anyone know how to stretch the top of your bum muscle (potentially the gluteus maximus muscle?) it's ridiculously tight and poss causing aches and pains in my back and itbs and if you use a golf ball or finger and poke it in certain places (cue inappropriate comments from either gaz or nic) it's like being touched with a hot poker.

Beautiful sunshine but quite cold wishing I had gloves. Felt a lot harder than it should be, especially chesty on the uphill

Intervals in the park

Very short reps in the park recovery was jog down to the next road - more recovery than rep in the distance.

Focussing on form and was feeling good on the rep...feeling awful on the recovery...either this stupid bloody cold is still lingering or maybe I have a chest infection - back is very sore upon finishing reps same as weds and my breathing is a lot heavier/more raspy than usual.
