Windy and hilly. No training last year. Threshold running and some 10+mile running this time...10seconds slower! O well ran it better. Hops gave out at 10miles. Had a bad mental bit 5-7miles.
Trig point recce with Dr L. Sunny but cold. Did 80% of route. Starting booing at 10miles as my body breaks down at this point and the abductor that I tweaked at yesterday's xc was hurting for these last 5 miles.
O dear o dear. Wee or warm up. I chose wee which resulted in a 20min queue and no warm up so was swearing at myself at my piss poor preparation. Running very much within my self as very cold and I've trained hard for the last 6 weeks for the half marathon next Sun so didn't want to do something stupid while legs were cold.
