beginners course on bethcar

me and rach l hung control number 2 and then went to check control 1 and 5

and then returned to start. Then went and collected control 3

went up old man of conniston. it was effing difficult. i cant do climb- fact. held everyone up on the way up and then after 5mins of descent was relatively fine but still essentially completely screwed...as ash said decided selthwaite pub would be nicer

small loop, big loop -then decided it was too creepy on my own so instead on running like a relay me and joan did it at the same time- big loop, small loop, big loop, small loop, big loop, small loop.

big loop was a higher intensity than the small loop

run from cobden view, up lygate lane, through graveyard, through stables, into rivelin, along rivelin, up to manchester road, through crosspool, through broomhill to the octogan. running with non shuocers dropped them off at bottom of lygate lane, from there picked up the pace a bit more to the union as wsant chatting and it was downhill

felt really good so did a 5th :-) if truth be told felt good enough to do a sixth just couldnt seem to make the legs go any faster...its normally the tother way round.

no rain but had every kind of ground conditions possible, mud, snow, ice, more mud, stone and dry sand (?!). 1:15 off my PB :-)
