Run 25:00 [3]

from home to edge, to edge to bingham, bingham to somerfield

Orienteering 1:04:00 [3]

Dave A shadowed me round the control pick dave did for bingham park from control 20 onwards.

Was really good training. all legs were short and lots of different things to pick up and dave was very helpful at answering my silly qs. dave also showed me how to take bearings better and pointed out that i need to at least face the right direction when im leaving a control to take a bearing or to plan my route- simple stuff but you dont really realise yourself. Have also learnt what a fault line is- i thought it was a ditch...i seem to think everything is a ditch. Due to the brambly nature of bingham i wasnt able to run very hard whilst doing. and no socks= very VERY scratched legs. when got out on to open felt amazing cause i could actually leg it even planning my next route before id got to control.

Congratulations everyone you've now got me enjoying orienteering!!!- took enough time lol. Really REALLY wish i could do JK.

Have set my self an aim for end of next season to be within 5mins of Kelly Candy... only problem is shes getting tonnes better too so MAJOR challenge.

Orienteering (BUCs Relay) 37:30 [5] *** 3.1 km (12:06 / km)

feel it was harder than the orange standard it was meant to be. but only one faff where i made a 90 degree error and then struggled to find it. not as good as the individual.
