rubbish. just wasn't in the right mindset today to race. so after the first lap and going increasingly backwards decided to just use it as training and work hard up the hills.

Run 10:00 [1]

Little run down to ponderosa in my trainings.
Swap shoes to zan's spike. zig zagging round ponderosa mix of jogging and sprinting just trying the spikes out.

Track 30:00 [2] 2.8 km (10:43 / km)

2km warm up with the guys
usual drills and 2 50m strides

800m warm down (had mahussive stitch)

Track 27:59 [4]

Kris and Dave were doing 'Beat Bekele'. So I did their every 3rd rep. It got chuffing hard as I got a bit slower as that meant I had less recovery. Meant I did about 16reps of 200m. Rep 4 and 11 I only did about 100m as I died. First rep was 34secs though i think i averaged just under 40.

Run 37:00 [3]

mine -rach fr's- endcliffe park-along side bingham (bingham was still icy and the pair of use had roads on and we saw a cyclist deck it) and then back up highwater road (???) then back along fulwood road to broomhill to rach's then home.

Before x-c race yesterday my right foot (well both feet a bit) felt royally battered from the 10+ mile run.

After x-c race yesterday my right foot felt really sore, even causing me to limp a bit whilst walking back to car as really painful to place on floor. Then for rest of day ball of foot and one toe felt bruised.

I had to stop during run today along highwater road as my foot really quite hurt...seemed to hurt more when running uphill cos I seem to put a lot of pressure on the ball of my foot when driving uphill (well that's what I think). The pain seemed to be running width ways along the ball of my foot and lengthways down the right side of my right foot during the run. Makes my running awkward and uneven as foot seems to be rolling.

Made poor rach examine my feet when I got to hers as wanted to get the bridge of my foot hadnt caved or whether there was anything about them (other than webbed)

Hmmm hope it goes away.
