Easement, felt great. Did 5 x 1000m with 3 minute active rest between each. The splits were 3:04, 3:04, 3:00, 3:03, 2:59. Then I did 6 x 150m on the grass barefoot. The 1ks were on the dirt easements where the PWHS kids do their repeats.
