Realized that I hadn't really done the perimeter on Thursday. Had forgotten the Clearwater to Wellfield loop via Moose Run. But shortcutting from Troon to Clearwater via the Brook Trail, it actually turned out to be slightly shorter (if slightly hillier) than what I mistakenly called the perimeter. And the Brook Trail shortcut also makes it more perimeter-y -- enclosing more territory. Borrowed Nancy's new mountain bike with mine in the shop. A little trouble getting into 3rd on the chainring at first, and trouble getting into 1st at the end. 7.7 mph (8.7)
