Orienteering (Training) 1:00:00 [4] 10.5 km (5:43 / km) +110m 5:26 / km

Decided not to go to an event today, so instead, me and dad went to Beverley Westwood to do some training. Dad planned three courses for me to do and he shadowed; was a really good workout! Total time just a bit more than 1hour.

First course; did 3.2km control pick in 19:53.
Second course; did 3.7km route choice in 21:43.
Third course; did 3.6km normal in 20:06.

Fell down a small slope on the second as the mud was rock solid ice; probably quite funny for others but it hurt a little :P
Ankle was ok, the ground was a bit solid but not too rough on the open.

Felt really good afterwards, and really enjoyed the training :)

Very cold!! Went at 8.30 because had to be ready at 11 to go to the cinema :)
felt tired on the way round, probably should have run further.. also, right ankle was a bit stiff, probably slept on it funny!

VERY ICEY!
shouldn't have gone out, but i thought it would be ok. Started running round first loop and had to slow several times because of ice.. so decided not to carry on and go home.. Really slow because of the ice, but i was well up for the run =/

Pain back in left ankle from the sprain. Have iced it and kept it up so i'm hoping it should be ok for the weekend.

5 minutes; plank, sit-ups and press-ups.

was ok, not too challenging :)

Note

Decided it was a bad idea to go out for a run because of the snow and ice, so stayed inside and did other stuff instead :)
