Errrr, absolute rubbish?
Went off wayy too fast down the wrong track so lost myself right at the start.. Then all the green was confusing and i was just generally slow and navigation was awful!

Hmmm.. I think relays are my weak point; i never seem to do well at them!

Still VERY annoyed about yesterday! :(

Warm Up/Down 20:00 [2]

Jogged to the start, did some stretches.. Then jogged around a bit more as i was quite early for my start and did some more stretches :)

Orienteering (British Champs!) 1:08:46 [4] 8.0 km (8:36 / km) +170m 7:46 / km

W18 Elite course.. Must have done about 10km; well thats what im claiming anyway :)

Thought the area was ok, especially liked the wooded areas because they were runnable; just didn't enjoy the actual course that much! Plus some of the marshes went up to the top of my leg.. NOT GOOD :p

Went OK. Started off quite slow so that i didn't go wrong. Maybe could have gone off a little faster?
Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 were good and i spiked the control; this probably got me too excited because i then lost myself at number 5 - probably a 2minute+ error! Then 6, 7 and 8 were good and i got them spot on in the tricky area of pits/depressions.. However, i lost myself at 9 again, probably over-excitment from the previous three.. *MUST remember not to get toooo excited!* Porbably lost about 4minutes again on 9 :(
Number 10 and 11 were fine also.. But on 12 i was wondering around the top/sides of the spur when i should have been at the bottom; lost about 3-4minutes once again!!
After that, i took 13 quite slowly and got it spot on and 14 was also quite good.. Found 15 a tricky control and didn't have a plan for it so lost about 1minute on that because of panic! And the final control, 16, i went 45 degrees the wrong way, but realised half way down so carried on to the track along the fence to the control..

Overall i think i lost at least 10minutes, if not even more!
This is starting to really irritate me now; eliminating the mistakes would make me so much better!!! Rather subdued i think =/

Easy run from B+B with Dad - took a copy of the British map with me to look at as i finally remembered!
The run was ok, but we got lost a few times on way back!! Didn't panic and kept pace very easy.
Didn't stretch enough before hand so my shoulders were hurting quite a bit at the beginning but other than that it was ok.. Quite enjoyed it :)

Note

Travelled down to the B+B we're staying at for the British so was in the car for quite a few hours.. Quite Tired.

Running 28:18 [3] 5.37 km (5:16 / km) +140m 4:40 / km

(Just a guess on the climb because havn't done the run i did today before and didn't have dads watch to measure it!)

Felt a bit tired, but carried on after doing one loop to do another half which i was pleased with. However, after that, my right ankle started aching a lot so i slowed down a bit. Din't 'up' the pace after coming out of the woods, just kept it nice and steady.. Was ok, but not the best :)

The usual jog and stretches.

Drills (Rock Climbing) 35:00 [3]

Tried to do some harder climbs which really pulled on my arms.. gave up on them and did easier ones :P

Was overall, average.

Basketball (Match) 40:00 [4]

Actually a lot more tiring, and a lot more fun than i origanally thought!
Considering we put the team together monday, didn't have any practise and 4/6 of us have never played 'proper' basketball, i think we did really well at loosing 26 to 38 :)
Most i have sweated in agessss!

Football Training 1:00:00 [3]

Was OK... Little bit boring as we didn't have a big match at the end :(

Jog to the starting place and jog back from the finish place :)
Stretches toooo.

Running 35:45 [4] 6.86 km (5:13 / km) +160m 4:40 / km

Same run as in the half term week.. VERY lonely by myself :(
Also felt slow and bored without dad there as my pace-maker.. butt, did it sllightly faster than last week.

Felt good on the way round, maybe could have gone a bit faster?

Running 11:30 [2] 1.3 km (8:51 / km)

Mums Jog :)

She did okay, but didn't strecth and then got cramp in her calf.
Was a nice addition after my warm down :)
