Orienteering 1:12:20 [4] 7.42 km (9:45 / km) +170m 8:45 / km

W18E, Big Moor.
Took it steady so not to hurt myself, but still found it really tough.. Didn't think the map was very clear at the start and basically just ran in the direction i thought the control was in. When on the moor at the top, made a few silly mistakes, especially towards the end when i got slower and slower due to tiredness. I decided that i am awful at making route choices when at the end of a course.
Overall not too disappointed, but also not pleased with my run.

Orienteering 33:48 [3] 4.6 km (7:21 / km) +20m 7:11 / km

Training at Hillborough Park.
Time and distance uncludes warm up, running drills and the three exercise that we did :)
Warm up: 1.08km, 6m52sec
First had a route choice course (0.95km, 4m01sec), felt really good and flowed well :)
Second we had to do a loop of 800m running and then come straight back to the start to pick up a map for another route choice course. Made one choice which was possibly slower than another route, but again flowed well (2.22km, 10m32sec).
Third was a compass bearings thing.. Started off well and got 1 and 2 right but was at the wrong tree at 3, which led to the wrong tree at 4, but 5 was easy to get (0.3km, 2m21sec)
Running drills; 10mins


Overall really good, love the sprint training :)

Orienteering 40:52 [3] 4.39 km (9:19 / km) +100m 8:21 / km

Blue at Beeley Woods.
Middle Race, 3.4km, 100m climb. Did a bit naff to be honest. Was feeling good before the start, but after that it seemed to fall apart. Tried to plan ahead and flow through the controls, but kept loosing my place/thinking i was somewhere else (e.g i thought i was going to number 9, but i was going from 7 to 8!). Just stuff like that slowed me right down and confused me completely. Probably lost quite a lot of time overall, but not sure how much as i havnt looked; at a guess 8minutes+ which is terrible.

Weights programme two times with sit-ups inbetween. Did 200 sit-ups all together :)
Also did 10minutes on the bike, tiring!

Did the weights programme Kenny wrote out for me two times round uncluding sit-ups. Then did 10minutes on the bike, 10minutes rowing and 10minutes swimming.
I HATE swimming :( Just so rubbish at it and find it hard; dont think i'll do it again tbh!

Induction at Haltemprice :) The guy was really helpful and wrote me out a little thing.. really enjoyed it!
