Training at Hillborough Park.
Time and distance uncludes warm up, running drills and the three exercise that we did :)
Warm up: 1.08km, 6m52sec
First had a route choice course (0.95km, 4m01sec), felt really good and flowed well :)
Second we had to do a loop of 800m running and then come straight back to the start to pick up a map for another route choice course. Made one choice which was possibly slower than another route, but again flowed well (2.22km, 10m32sec).
Third was a compass bearings thing.. Started off well and got 1 and 2 right but was at the wrong tree at 3, which led to the wrong tree at 4, but 5 was easy to get (0.3km, 2m21sec)

Orienteering 40:52 [3] 4.39 km (9:19 / km) +100m 8:21 / km
Blue at Beeley Woods.
Middle Race, 3.4km, 100m climb. Did a bit naff to be honest. Was feeling good before the start, but after that it seemed to fall apart. Tried to plan ahead and flow through the controls, but kept loosing my place/thinking i was somewhere else (e.g i thought i was going to number 9, but i was going from 7 to 8!). Just stuff like that slowed me right down and confused me completely. Probably lost quite a lot of time overall, but not sure how much as i havnt looked; at a guess 8minutes+ which is terrible.
