Good ride with some people from the triathlon club. Good cafe stop and nice gentle pace, although feel absolutely exhausted now - although legs feel fine. Was worried my knees would hurt but were totally fine yay :)

Just needed to get out as worked in the deli friday and saturday so felt exhausted, but un-relaxed. Ran up into Glentress and explored some new paths/got a bit lost - it got dark just as I decided to go down some single track on a 'short-cut' and ended up in the pitch black in the thickest forest ever on a barely there path, was quite slow going. Fun! Felt much better. Knee a bit painful on the way back but not as bad as before. Good plan not doing the race though, although I'm annoyed to miss it :(

Absolutely hated getting in but really really enjoyed it once in and swimming about. Not a real swim swim, just a casual bob along towards the treeline and back. Fun. Then curry!

Short loop to test out the knee. Not good. Ok on the flat and ok-ish on the uphill, but really sore on anything steep and downhill. Not sure doing the race is a good idea.

Total rest day today - was going to do some core and yoga but instead went a met Alison in Edinburgh for dinner - really nice evening!

Good yoga session. So much easier to do when it's slightly warmer - can go in the conservatory which is a really good place to focus, and can actually stretch properly and jump around. :)

Something twinging in my lower back/hip again now though - although was fine all day. Hmm.

Didn't do the proper session as my right knee was hurting, so just jogged the route they were doing the intervals on. Knee ok apart from at the end when it was hurting quite a bit... will go for another jog on Thurs/Frid and if it's still sore have a proper think about whether to do the race this weekend... would be a shame not too but don't want it to turn into a real injury.

Hard tonight - I moved up to the next fastest lane so had to work harder and do more lengths! But really good, although there is something tweaking in my back. Felt it during yoga, and worse after swimming.
Will get up early and stretch tomorrow morning and try and stretch every day this week.
