Really good! Felt soooo tired this morning and not ready to race, but as soon as I started running about I felt really good - maybe after running with a rucksack yesterday it made it feel super easy?!
Felt good all the way round, enjoyed it, and 1st lady so got a toblerone, wahoo!

Packed a 7kg+ pack (weighed to make sure). Had waited to run as the forecast said it would be nicer past 2pm, but all day it got worse and worse and worse... so just had to bite the bullet and go in the pouring rain - if I had gone straight after Parkrun it would have been way nicer!
Hard hard work running with that pack... ideally would have needed more practice before NZ but time is running out!!

Ran up stream path below Whiteside where I thought it would be less windy, but still pretty windy, absolutely soaked... had planned to go over and down Whiteless Pike etc etc and maybe even round Melbreak, but was totally soaked and in thick mist and started getting really cold so came back... feel like a bit of a cop-out but oh well :/
