Sunday Nov 12 #

climbing 30:00 [3]

A good few climbs (sport climbing), think I did about 4/5. Nothing major as soooooo tired from yesterday and hands so sore. But fun, no rain! Nice day.

Saturday Nov 11 #

11 AM

Walking 5:00:00 [1]
shoes: Inov-8 trail shoes

Mountain route up Groove Arete on East of Tryfan in the freezing cold mist/rain, SO. COLD. About 8 pitches plus walking. Don't want to be cold again ever. But really cool to get to the top, achievements! But definitely type 2 fun to the extreme. Need warmer layers.
10 PM

Strength and Conditioning (Acroyoga) 1:30:00 [2]

Did a ridiculous amount of acro, learnt lots of new things but soooooo tired, stopped when I eventually fell on my head and my whole neck made a horrible crunch all the way down my spine. But so fun!

Pyramid session again: 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 with 1 min breaks. Good, felt like I pushed a lot harder than last time, more focused. HARD.

Running long 1:34:52 [3] 18.18 km (5:13 / km) +230m 4:54 / km
shoes: Inov-8 trail shoes

BEAUTIFUL morning run, so nice and sunny, just all the way along the Meanwood Valley trail. As I could only do an hour and a half just tried to run a bit faster than normal easy long run. Felt really tired after!
5 PM

Stretching 1:00:00 [0]

Ditched yoga as was so tired and just did a mega stretch, felt like a new woman

Tuesday Nov 7 #

6 PM

Running warm up/down 19:20 [3] 4.2 km (4:36 / km) +48m 4:21 / km

Running hills (XC training) 13:56 [4] 2.94 km (4:44 / km) +103m 4:02 / km

Hill reps on Spen Lane - decided to do the lads session, where it was running hard on the uphill and still running quite fast on the downhill - so more of a continuous effort, although going much harder on the uphill.
Really strange. Felt amazing for the first 2 reps, then suddently started struggling on rep 3. On rep 4 I felt absolutely horrendous, then my shoelace came undone so had to stop to sort it out. I was aiming for 8 so thought it would work quite well and allow me to smash the last 4.
Then felt even worse on the 5th rep, wasn't running fast AT ALL, but felt like my whole body was just full of lactic acid/dying. So I set off on the 6th really steady, and even then I just crawled up the hill and felt horrendous. At the top I just stopped and felt so sick I decided to call it a day - just didn't feel right.
Had felt weirdly under the weather all day - wondering if I ate/drank something a bit dodgy yesterday. On the upside, think the cough is shifted!

Running warm up/down 20:35 [3] 3.86 km (5:20 / km) +20m 5:12 / km

12 PM

Yoga 1:00:00 [0]

Not very focused today, wasn't really in the mood for such a slow class - nice reggae music though

Strength and Conditioning 45:00 [3]

Climbing club circuits! Good but lots of cardio type exercises and a bit too much legs. I had thought it would be more bodyweight static stuff, and core/arms. Good but nto that useful for running as I don't really need any more leg workout!
