Calf sore when woke up. Eased off throughout the day, but ditched any running entirely (was going to do 4hrs) - glad I did as felt horrendous, had to go back to bed in the afternoon and napped for 2hrs, and still feel tired. Not sure why :( :(

Running assessment this morning with Rachel from Run Hub.
Need to sort my left glute out, and stop running on a single track! Also will do some experimenting with cadence. V interesting. Happy with my technique overall though.

Felt AWFUL. Not sure what was wrong, but didn't enjoy it AT ALL. Sunny & mountains so should have loved it but just didn't. Calf niggling so decided to back off early so I could still do a longer one tomorrow. Still longer Saturday run than I've done before so good training. But by the time I got to the last 5km I was crawling and felt awful, felt sick by the end :(

7th swim in 8 days! Tireddd this morning. Also was SO MUCH colder afterwards, found it really hard to warm up. Which is weird as I didn't put my head in and didn't think we stayed in longer than normal...

Tempo around Braids. 10 mins, 5 min rest, 11 mins. Calf was niggling at the end of the first set so backed off the pace for second set, got worse though so ditched the final (12 min) set and jogged home. Annoying as it seems to have turned it into a real niggle :(
Might just ditch all running for next few days so I can hopefully be recovered for the long runs at the weekend as they are priority!

Travelling back from Lismore. Nice sprint to find my camera so managed to stretch my legs. Plus a beautiful sea swim! COLD.
