THE BEST run - loved it sooooooooo much! Just felt great to be out running and it was all windy & dramatic with bits of mist flying everywhere. HH & Grisedale loop from carpark just down from Whinlatter. Brillllllllllllllllll.

Funnn, loved running - weirdly felt like I was running super speedily but time says sooooooooooooo slow! Maybe the effect of last two days. Felt so flow-y & effortless.

Beautifullll day again. Stunningly calm this morning, although quite midgy! Nice morning dip, then shuffled home the 'low' way. Stopped for another beaut dip in the lake and lie on the beach once almost back. If I hadn't been super hungry I'd have stayed there all day!

Run with full camping pack to Ennerdale, via Red Pike. OMM 32 litre seems pretty ideal! Packed it super full to make it extra heavy for extra training - and still lots of space, wasn't straining the pack.
Hot and 'totes beauts' - as described by a girl I past on the way up.
Forgot how slow it was to 'run' with a pack - had originally thought I'd make it to Scoat Tarn but that would have been another 1.5 hrs I think. Another time!
Stunning swim while watching the sun sink into the end of the lake.

Supposed to be a 'steady run' but more of a 'struggle jog'. Felt sooo tired! Not sure why. Loved being out though. Only went to the top of the path then turned back, didn't even go to any peaks.

Testing some Altra's. Really like them to walk around in, and love the whole zero-drop & space for toes theory - BUT these shoes just do not feel good to run in! They don't seem to fit around my heal/tighten in the right places. Weird.
Anyway nice run around Whinlatter - felt EXHAUSTED all day but much better once running. Yayy!
