Run to work! Or Braithwaite, then ran out of time so hopped on the bus so I'd have time to jump in the Lake then get ready for work. Very glad I forced myself out of bed to do this - although very sleepy all day at work.
With rucksack with 5kg dumbell in + litre of water and clothes & shoes & towel etc.

Run back from work, same route. REALLY enjoyed this! Just zoned out and time flew by, had a great time , even enjoyed the misty greyness. Quite a relief, as running has seemed a bit of a drag recently - not great when about to go on a hugeeeeeeeee running trip.
Last day of work today - freeeedom!

Potentially the worst I've ran in a race EVER!! Couldn't be bothered and super tired even at the start, so decided to just enjoy it. About 27940 degrees too. Did manage to enjoy the first half but really wasn't running hard at all, basically was just treating it as a run, which was fine.
Then second half (downhill) I got super fed up and bored, couldn't be bothered and it went on foreeverrrrr. Was running totally on my own and taking all the silly lines. Not fun! Bleugh.

Great wee wizz about the cycle paths in Edinburgh! Just headed out for a jog, first one without a rucksack in agesssss. Felt weird and like an old woman, then once warmed up 10 mins in felt v excited to be actually running properly. Tried to wake the legs up for tomorrow by doing 3 x [1min hard - 1min rec - 30s hard - 30s rec] (but not really thatttt hard).
Really enjoyed it, super fun, lovely sunshine.

Beautiful sunny run along the John Muir Way from FoxLake to N Berwick, with rucksack. Testing out new shoes - Terraultra G 260's!!! LOVED THEM! Best shoes ever. So glad I chose these. Didn't go longer as I realise that a long run with rucksack is not the best way to break in new shoes anyway, so wasn't going to push it. Boiling. Dropped my icecream in N Berwick straight away, then shamelessly picked it up, stuck it back in the cone & ate in anyway. #classy
