From home up Honister, all in a disgusting headwind. Down the other side which was also disgusting, at which point me and Mike agreed to definitely never go over Honister again. Then returned via the much more pleasant Whinlatter Pass, saving Newlands for another day. Biking definitely far inferior to running.

Funnn joggle out with Hannah, Nic and Mike in torrential rain plus bonus swim! I was feeling very very peaky so just a short slow route. An honour to be with Han&Nic on their not wedding day! <3

Note

Feeling incredibly battered after sports massage today. Pelvis totally in the wrong place and seized up, amongst lots of other problems.

Freedom! Out of self isolation today. Swim in the lake in the dark and pouring rain. Amazing.

Whiteside, Hopegill Head, down the gill. Absolutely stunning. Brilliant time, except by the end feeling quite pooped and by bedtime felt quite ill. Bit of a shock to the body after a week of travelling and 2 weeks isolation. But felt great uphill! Feel super speedy without the rucksack, even though all my data shows I'm going extremely slowly.
