Was going to go all the round the lake, but set off and realised my knee was hurting more and more :(((
Think it's just a small niggle that came out of doing too much straight out of self isolation, and will go away if I take it easy. Made it a short one instead and went home to do yoga and try and sort out inbalances. Really nice wavey dip on the way back - very windy.

Note

SO annoyed didn't run today. Planned a route to do on way home, but by the time I got there was dark and no torch (or at least I forgot I had my rubbish one). Then faffed too much at home.

Walked round lake to windy beach to camp and try out new tent. Super calm and huge moon, so went for amazing swim. Took ages to warm up though.
Then wind got up at about 2am and turns out there is a MAJOR flaw in the tent in that the door has no zip, only velcro and hooks which kept blowing open. If I had stayed think whole thing would have blowed over by morning so packed up at about 4am and went home.
Now (midday time) it's at least 2/3x as windy so glad I did.

With Jenny and Mike, low-ish level route up from Langstrath. Funn! Legs tired and seized up though, need some yoga & rest days.
Torrential rain never fully arrived, just bits of it. Dip in Black Moss pot on the way down, then pub. Brill fun.

Melbreak with Mike. Had planned a rest day but glad we went. Windy & wild, but really great! Slow in the dark with our rubbish torches. Keep getting caught out by how early it gets dark now. Lots of weather.
Definitely need to take it easier though this week, as getting niggly sore points in lots of parts of my legs.
