Greattttt run - another 7 Wainwrights! 15 done this week, but will get a bit harder to tick them off now as done all the ones closest to home.
Went straight up the nose of Grasmoor which was really great - such a cool path! Would be great training for a VK too - about 650m straight up. And a good hill rep stretch at the bottom I think - might try it out in Tuesday's session.

Had thought this route would be a few km's more though - but will do a longer one next week. Working my way up to regular 30km runs.

Felt rubbish today, huge headache when I woke up which wouldn't go away. Gave up on work by lunchtime, walked to the lake slowly then came home and went to bed :(

Sooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwww. Wanted to go up Rannerdale, also wanted to practise some running technique. Both were a bit of a flop. Had a long day but thought running would revive me - no energy, but enjoyed plodding along super slowly, and also stopped to walk a bit as it was so quiet and peaceful in the dark that it felt super nice. But after the top I lost all my energy and basically crawled home - went round the road way as thought it would be faster, and walked half of it! So tired and so hungry, think I forgot to have afternoon snack which might have helped. Overall, nice but not really a run.

Weird cross between fartlek and hill reps. But SO MUCH FUN!!
Nice brisk jog up to see the ponies on Low Fell to warm up, then went across to the fence line and did two 'reps' on the SUPER steep uphill - as fast I could. Once on the top of Low Fell ran over to Fellbarrow, doing efforts on all the uphills but not 100% flat out with these. Tried to keep track by pressing Lap on my watch, but can make no sense of them now.
Jog down, with 3 more short efforts (<60s) where there were small hills.
From what I can roughly tell it was about 14-16 min hard running (probably taking in about 300m climb over 1.5 - 2km), with varying paces the rest of the time.
So much fun!!!! Didn't see anyone else excpet the lovely fell ponies - so cute.
