Orienteering (w/10lbs) 54:35 [4] *** 5.4 mi (10:07 / mi)
ahr:171 max:190 19c

Nice OTNT set by Todd at Rice Creek North Regional Park. Ran a fairly clean run except #12. I couldn't remember what the clue symbol was (rootstock) and didn't see the tape when I was at the top. I ran down to the bottom searching, and when Ian didn't come down after a while (since I saw him running on the trail behind me), I knew that I had boggled this CP (Lost 2-3 min) and ran back to the top. Definitely a tough control location without topo if you missed the flagging. Had a sprint w/Tom and Ian from 16 to the finish, which definitely rocked the HR. Overall course was super fun and the aerial map skillz are always something to work on.
Post OTNT festivities were awesome as well.

Biking 2:00:00 [2] 26.0 mi (13.0 mph)
ahr:101 max:132

Easy paced ride w/Mo on the commuter trail west to Eden Prairie and back. We saw a couple deer, bunnies, a muskrat, a turkey, and a flock of MILFs. Stopped at DQ on the way back for a treat.

Soccer (barefoot) 1:30:00 [3]

Played short-field soccer for about 90 minutes in barefeet at the picnic reception with Grinnell College Soccer buddies. Awesome to play with the guys, but was always worried about possibly busting my toes. Glad to come away unscathed. Felt like my feet muscles got a good workout running around without shoes though.

Note
(rest day)

Went to visit Bodie and new mom/dad. What a cutie - got to hold him for about 20 minutes - sooo small! Plus he looks like a little monkey right now - made me wonder about human evolution and mammals in general....
