Local meet at Magnuson Park. It wasn't raining but the ground was soaked. It was like walking through swamps the whole time. It is pretty flat. It was a 1:5000 map and I always have trouble with those. I ran course 5. It all went well except for point 5. I lost focus--heck it is only a city park. I went within 10 meters of my control and kept going. Way past the control. When I got almost to a parking lot, I finally relocated and went back. Oh well, another 10 or 20 years and maybe I won't make these kind of mistakes.
