Lake # 32 Shawanaga Inlet (Georgian Bay)
Overnight paddle from Dillon's Cove marina to the southern end of the Shawanaga Inlet, across from the Twin Sisters island. Our plan was to cross to the southern part of the Hertberg islands but the winds were too strong. We struggled to get to around the corner of the mainland and decided to wait-and-see if the wind would settle down after dinner, but it didn't. Whitecaps in Georgian Bay are much different from whitecaps on the little lakes I have been paddling!!!
Found a great camping spot and cooked up a great bisquick pizza but had to do it on the camp stove because it was way too windy for a campfire. The wind finally died down in the middle of the night. Had a lot of fun exploring the coastline. The scenery is spectacular on Georgian Bay.
Not sure of the actual paddling time ...
