Note
(injured)

Well, I've gone and done it now. After last Sunday ( my back was talking to me on the ride home) and ignoring my symptoms since last fall, I ended up in the chiropractor's office in serious pain ( and panic) and near tears.

So now, no snowshoeing, no skiing, no biking, no running, and no snowshoe raid next week :(

Maybe this time I'll folow instructions and slowly work towards a complete recovery for next seasons adventure races.

Thinking positive...

yoga 30:00 [1]

Note

Sure can feel that I did a strength workout yesterday!

biking 30:00 [2]

Not feelin' it today. Lousy tunes and worrying about my back so I cut it short.
Maybe when Larry brings back my mp3 I'll do some more tonight.

snow shoe 1:00:00 [3]

Noticed that a beaver has been very active since just last week. He has clear cut an entire little area. We followed the tracks to see where he's residing.

Took into account the wildlife investigation when logging time.

snowshoe orienteering 1:19:16 [4]

Great Thomass race at Palgrave. Could have run a bit more (hence the level 4) .

Lost about ten minutes on a dumb error near the end. Missed #7 and were close to the finish (100meters) when we realized our mistake. Rats!

Note

Herniated disc acting up on the way home. Not so much down my leg like the usual sciatic pain but localized to a very small are in the lower back.
