Another wake up at 4 am left me feelin' like a bit of a dishrag today.

No training hours today as a result. Tonight's another night. :)

slept:5.0

So the sleep things not working right now. Went to bed early with the intention of a good night's sleep but was awoken by Danielle at 4 AM who was sick. After that I couldn't get back to sleep. Try again tonight.

Also, I've decided not to record the "trekking" anymore now that it's become a habit. Saving lots of gas and getting way more efficient with running errands. I won't count the biking to errands either. Don't want to inflate my training hours.

yoga 1:00:00 [1]

Took a beginner class to get the hang of it again and start carefully. Have to take care not to torque my back. Great class!
Boy, my hipflexors have almost seized up! Probably high time I did yoga regularly.

hiking 20:00 [3]

running (circuit training) 38:00 [3]

strength 8:00 [3]

Decided to incorporate some strength into my trail running session.

On one end of the trail walking lunges;on the other tricep dips off the bench; and halfway in between some Very Wimpy push-ups off another bench.

* walking lunges 1 set of 20 ; 2 sets of 40
(legs felt like jello when I started running again)

* tricep dips 3 sets of 20

* push-ups 1 set of 10 ; 2 sets of 6 (extremely wimpy!)

Still, it broke up the running and still kept my heart rate up :)

strength (core) 13:00 [2]

Note

It just occured to me that when I'm looking at other people's logs (especially ones who didn't invite you to) it's considered creeping. However, I use it as a tool to get an idea of how and how much people are training. Plus it's motivation. Not done as a creeper thing.

Note
slept:6.0

Time to start working on getting enough sleep.
