running 57:48 [4]

Same route: Hahne Farm Trail from home and back. Picked it up a bit thus improved my time. Yeah!!!!

Think I should buy a GPS watch so I know how far I actually ran. With all the little back trails to get there I really don't know.

biking (road) 2:15:36 [3] 51.8 km (2:37 / km)

Drove down to Paula's for a bike ride. It was spitting when we left. Turned into drizzle: and wind: and then just significant rain followed by sunshine the last 10 K.

Our route was from the 4th line by Bond Head (Bradford area), down the Canal road to Keele, I believe. West on the Aurora side road through Kettleby and Pottageville, over to Schomberg and up 27 back to Paulas. Nice route but crazy, adventure race training weather!

running 1:03:16 intensity: (15:00 @2) + (48:16 @3)

As promised to myself during the race.

15 minute warm-up from home to the Hahne Farm Trail. The trail itself has dried up nicely so conditions were perfect.
Eventhough I could feel the ankle that I twisted twice during the race, and some muscles that were very tight, this was the best run I've had in years! Go figure! Kept running back to home.

On the trail I ran into a very old man walking a Rottweiler . I slowed to a stop and took one earbud out. Good thing because the man asked me to walk slowly past because if I ran, the dog would want to "run" with me (?!) But even walking past , the man had trouble holding onto his dog. Kinda' scary!
