Now I know that AP is usually not a place to swap recipes, but I'm so stoked about a new (recovery) smoothie recipe that I want to share it with everyone:
Spinach and Kiwi Smoothie:
Blend the following:
2 cups fresh spinach leaves (2 big handfuls)
1/2 cup chopped apple
2 kiwis, peeled and chopped
1 tsp honey
1 tsp flax seed oil
1 cup plain yogurt
1scoop protein powder
1 cup ice (5 ice cubes)
serves 2 I kept 1/2 in a jar in the fridge for the next day and it did not separate. Today I just halved the recipe. Also, you can omit the protein powder if you are not using it as a recovery drink.
