Beautiful area by some falls. They had quite a bit more snow then us up near Sudbury so the snowshoe was fantastic! Bright and sunny too!

Pretty windy out on Windy Lake. Go figure! A little trippy but lots of fun!

The yurt was at least 500 meter hike in and we hiked this quite a few times each day. To the ski chalet for fresh water and flush toilets before 4:30 pm.

Note

Booked a yurt at Windy Lake Prov Park near Sudbury for Sat and Sun night. Looking forward to some skiing and snowshoeing. Larry and Gary are joining Debbie and I for the first night. Should be fun! Hope to get in some hockey and football as well.

First ski of this winter. Decided that if I was going to wait for better snow conditions, they might never happen. The trails were actually pretty good. Fast due to how icy it was . Luckily I grabbed some new wax at the store before heading out and it gave me enough grip for the hills. A bit of debris here and there, but overal a great ski!!
