Orienteering
We'll say 4 on intensity due to the hill climbing adventures in Grindstone creek. Really rustym haven't navigated for awhile but did well. Ran with Mike V. for all of it so 4 eyes better than one pair plus with the vegetation, i can't see the ribbons. Major error was contouring over to 9, should have went straight up and hugged the top over to the ridge. We skipped 3 controls. Was an intense 60mins!

Monday Jun 28

Running 25:00 [3]
Fast pace knee crushing city run. I hate roads/sidewalks...yo can feel it in the knees.
Trying to get as much training time as possible before the AR. Orienteering wed, possibly biking thurs and friday with the team.

Sunday Jun 27

Running 30:00 [3]
Along chedoke radial trail towards the golf course, up Ron Lowry towards Iroquoi Heights and some running along the Bruce. Fast pace since i had a lunch date with the family. Tired after that run.

Saturday Jun 26

Running 1:00:00 [3]
Dundas valley. Felt good, hand is no problem when running, going to try commuting to work later this week on bike.

Tuesday Jun 22

Running 35:00 [3]
I'll give her a 3 for intensity due to the hills today. Legs feel great even after the weekend race. The thumb is slightly swollen still, getting it checked tomorrow for any ligament injuries since i'm racing in 3 weeks and we can't bail out unless i'm really injured. Had to take off the splint that the hospital put on...was cutting off circulation to my hand :(

Sunday Jun 20

Cycling 4:05:00 [4]
Summer Soltice 24hr bike race. Did 4 laps @ 18km a piece. Pace was hard and fast...legs burnt out in a few laps and the nite section was trecherous. Fell a bruised my thumb really bad. Its the shifting thumb! fought thru 2 laps with it and reduced to to one gear and used the big ring only. Hope the thumb isn't broken...that wouls suck. Ended up 4th unoffically in our category with 21 laps all together.

Tuesday Jun 15

Running 1:00:00 [3]
Beach running with Gareth, good long technical run on some crazy ass rocks! Good agility training session if nothing else.

Sunday Jun 13

Running 20:00 [2]
Felt a little sluggish, dinner not so digested. Normal ~5km run and Lizzy McGuire did her 2km.

Thursday Jun 10

Running 25:00 [3]
Fast pace run with Gareth and Liz trailing behind us. Running with G is a work out, dude is built like a shit brick house and is full of energy...i.e. hes fast, keeping up with him is pretty hard

Wednesday Jun 9

Running 20:00 [4]
15min beach run with the Peatland gang at a faster than normal pace.
5min interval up a big hill to the house.

Monday Jun 7

Running 25:00 [2]
Felt sluggish today, long day at work attributing to that or might have been the frozen yogurt on the way home...beat as hell and have to switch up the 5km somewhere else, lack of variety and only roads is a bummer.

Sunday Jun 6

Running 20:00 [2]
same old run, legs feeling better after being inactive for a week and adjusting to the hard road shoulder. Wish i had a road bike, sooo many people here do touring on the weekends. Perhaps if Hammer ever gets the mega grant he can pay me some big bucks and Meridian can get a new bike!

Saturday Jun 5

Running 25:00 [2]
Same as yesterday. Doing a slow build up and will go harder once i get home to the Hammer. Lack of trails here in SCB which is a shame plus extra tired from the field.

Friday Jun 4

Running 20:00 [2]
From the camp to the bridge and back (approx. 5km). Gravel shoulder of the road, pretty harsh on the legs and gradual climb to the bridge. Easing back into a routine, have a 24hr bike race when i et back and have to put quailty time when i get back since the AR is a few weeks after i get home. First sunny day here...sketchy!

Thursday Jun 3

Running 20:00 [2]
Running at the Beach at SCB with Pete and Gareth, then went exploring this freaky cool tree house fort in the woods. Would be nicer if it stops raining...i.e. hasn't stopped since i got here.
