Tuesday Nov 30

Running 20:00 [2]
Warm-up and cool down (up the stairs if thats considered a cool down
Running 40:00 [4]
TNT intervals with the GHO crew. Long and short route interval route with rest in between. Last 10min sprinting at a 5. Hope to improve over the course of the winter. Felt better sprinting than the actual intervals.

Sunday Nov 28

Orienteering 1:05:00 [4]
Bechtel Park THOMASS. Started off really bad on the urban part putting me 3-5min down from the pack due to being caught off guard from the start. Once in the woods mischecked a control (happened to be part of the last map) and put me down even further. Little mistakes added up which is disappointing. Tried to fight back from this but everyone was long gone in my category. Just wasn't a good orienteering day in general but had fun.
Running 15:00 [2]
Warm-up with the Hammer and Griz

Saturday Nov 27

Running 1:00:00 [3]
Ancaster Community to DV Main loop around and back. Thought it would have taken longer than 60min but must have been running faster than expected. Feel a little dehydrated...don't think i've been drinking enough lately.

Sunday Nov 21

Cycling 2:10:00 [2]
Long DV MTB with Hammer. Weather is still goregous at this point in time.

Saturday Nov 20

Running 36:00 [2]
Weekly DV Valley with the Hendersons. Wasn't sucking air like on wednesday. Felt pretty good.

Wednesday Nov 17

Orienteering 1:40:00 [1]
Had fun the first time around so i decided to do some control pick up from the Raid the Hammer. Calves felt alright, not too sore but the legs in general are still fatigued. Lots of run and walk (up the hills!) orienteering today, and the 1 felt like a 3. Although i can't complain, being out at this time of the year is gorgeous and the A+ weather for November can't be passed up being indoors!

Sunday Nov 14

Orienteering 4:51:00 [3]
Raid the Hammer. Lot of hills, lots of fun, and lots of post race leg pains! Great course design by the Hammer, it had me fighting through the pain in the last few sections. Happy with the performance and had a blast with the Hendersons. Yes i do agree with Dave - a damn good orienteerer which helped us place well in the end! Learned a lot in those 4hrs or so.

Friday Nov 12

Running 45:00 [2]
DV trail/woods run. Loosing up the legs with a little cross-training action. Felt a little sluggish out there, but haven't done anything for a few days leading to this. Really just wanted to break in the new shoes a little before Sunday.

Sunday Nov 7

Running 1:30:00 [3]
DV valley main loop - Spencer Creek trai with the Hendersonsl. Probably will feel it tomorrow with all the training in the past few days. Although i felt pretty relaxed and good out there. Gorgeous weather, even better than yesterday if you can believe it!

Saturday Nov 6

Cycling 30:00 [1]
Warm-up and cool down
Cycling 1:30:00 [2]
DV with Sudden and Hammer. More fun training with people again. Beautiful day out. hoping the weather holds for next Sunday.

Friday Nov 5

Cycling 1:20:00 [3]
MTB DV. Really killer head wind going west. Tough biking up the rail trail to the trail centre. Felt pretty good considering i haven't biked for quite awhile. Wanted to switch it up a bit and not kill the knees before next weekend.
Note
Next big run with the Hendersons this Sunday. Peak-Main loop run if the weather holds up. Should be a good 2hr run or so.

Wednesday Nov 3

Orienteering 31:00 [3]
Chedoke orienteering. Was a fun course especially at nite! Had some trouble with 10 and 6 (tough to judge at nite) and had to back track for 2 because i didn't see it by the time i got to 3. The other controls in the woods weren't too bad since many people were there at that time narrowing the area down a bit. Flew on the flat sections and felt real good today.
