Thursday Dec 30

Weights 20:00 [1]
Lite weights and some core strength exercises

Tuesday Dec 28

Running 20:00 [2]
Warm up/cool down
Running (Intervals) 30:00 [5]
Interval training with Sudden, Hammer, Travellinga and Trihard. 2 on 1 off intervals.

Sunday Dec 26

Running 40:00 [2]
A little dicey on the sidewalks, had to run on the road which wasn't any better due to the occasional car trying to side-swipe you! If anything, its like terrain running out there due to the hardened conditions.

Friday Dec 24

Note
Lower back hurting like hell. Not from running but rather the 1.5hr snow shovelling marathon yesterday. i.e. the downside about living at home is that you turn into the human-snowblower when the weather turns crap. Boo to that!

Thursday Dec 23

Running 35:00 [2]
Warm up/Cool down from Home-to-Chedoke and back
Running 50:00 [3]
Thinking around 50mins, my watch has been broken. Skipped out the last loop in order to have some legs for the way home. The boys have too many years on me for me to keep pace! Tough running in the icy covered snow. Suffered some cuts from the ice on the ankles but otherwise was some good training with Hammer, Griz and Sudden. Will feel this tomorrow.

Tuesday Dec 21

Running 35:00 [1]
Lite warm up and cool down
Running (Intervals) 35:00 [5]
Meridian/Sudden VS Travellinga/OrienTired in a head-to-head match-up. The international squad of Team "Swed-ipino" took the home top honours at the end of the nite.

7 laps of ball-busting fun as usual. Thought i was going to pass out. Tougher when you add a little competition to the mix!

Saturday Dec 18

Note
Thinking of taking the weekend off to recover. Probably trained more in the past 3 weeks then i do in the racing season. Something seems fundementally wrong with that notion. Hopefully performance will be better with a few days off. Felt sluggish this week.

Thursday Dec 16

Running 45:00 [2]
Road run while some cool looking snow fell. Like Christmas!
Orienteering 30:00 [4]
City-O and Sprint training. Really enjoyed this, going to have to focus on these sprint race things. Could be good at it with some serious practice.

Tuesday Dec 14

Running 35:00 [5]
Interval training with Sudden, Griz and MT. Progressively slowed down towards the end. It hurt too!
Running 25:00 [2]
Warm-up/Cool down

Sunday Dec 12

Orienteering 1:00:00 [4]
Thomass Chase. Way tired from yesterday and felt the effects today. Pleased with the result and was a well set course. Although i still don't understand how some people get in front of me. Must have been in the chase pack...no one around me, but prefer it that way. Makes you think for yourself.

Saturday Dec 11

Running 2:00:00 [3]
First half orienteering and second half trail and woods running with Sudden, Hammer and Granite - I call it the DV Mega Run! Probably an average run for them but pretty tough for me. Was done the last 30mins but pushed to the end. Glad the boys didn't go too tough on me today or it would have been messy!

Tuesday Dec 7

Running 25:00 [2]
Warm up and cool down at Chedoke
Running (Intervals) 35:00 [5]
Interval Training with Hammer, the Griz and Sudden.
Every 4.5mins:
3 Full interval loops
5 Short interval loops (had to decrease loops to keep up and have rest in between)
Lacked some energy today and quads and knees are a little sore right now. 8 loops nearly killed me!

Sunday Dec 5

Cycling 2:00:00 [2]
DV valley to Iroquia Heights with Hammer. Quads feel tired right now and tweaked the ankle i rolled in yesterdays run.

Saturday Dec 4

Running 1:10:00 [3]
Spencer Gorge-Peak-Spencer Creek run with the Hendersons.

Thursday Dec 2

Running 30:00 [2]
Warm-up cool down
Running 13:00 [4]
3k time trial - 13 min and 6 sec exactly
Running 20:00 [4]
Hill intervals. 10 reps with down hill rest period
