Tuesday Mar 29

Running intervals 30:00 [3]
Wasn't feeling it today 3x short and 2x hill (skipped out one of the 2 loops on the hill loop but did a full the second time around). Still feeling tired from the weekend. Going to ease off late this week to rest for the Raid.
Running warm up/down 30:00 [1]

Sunday Mar 27

Orienteering 1:00:00 [1] ****
Control picking exercise at Hilton Falls in ankle to even knee depth at some places (for me anyway!). Took it slow and tried to use it as a map reading exercise since contours were 2.5m and very subtle, especially with snow. Tough running in the woods, legs are exhausted!
Running warm up/down 15:00 [1]

Saturday Mar 26

Orienteering race 30:00 [4] ***
P2P Sprint. Finished in 26 and change about where i'd though. Hilly, really hilly, O-shoes would be such an advantage.
Orienteering race 1:25:00 [3] ****
P2P Score-O. Sprint prior took the legs out of this one. Did the NW portion and worked my way around to the East section, more or less not doing the more technical orienteering. Again hilly, but was expected. 6mins over time, finished with 240 points
C • GHO Training 1
Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]
Orienteering 1:00:00 [1] ****
Line orienteering training with some of the US folks and regular TNT gang. Good training, took it easy, legs are definately fatigued

Friday Mar 25

Event: GHO Canada GHO Easter Training Camp

Thursday Mar 24

Note
Legs really tired still. So will skip out todays run which will probably be pretty sloppy and sluggish and take a short run tomorrow and save the legs for P2P and perhaps some training on the weekend.

Tuesday Mar 22

Running warm up/down 40:00 [1]
Running intervals 30:00 [5]
Clubhouse intervals with Griz, Sudden and Hammer. Felt alright the first couple of intervals but really had to push it hard throughout the rest. Might have over did it, HR definately peaked way too high i.e. really out of breath and recover time didn't help

Monday Mar 21

Running 40:00 [2]
Easy after school special run. Loosening up the legs, Rt knee and calve feeling a little tight/sore from Saturday.

Saturday Mar 19

Running 2:10:00 [3]
Hilton falls side/Bruce trail with Tiny. ~22km run, legs were shot by the end due to 80% trail/terrain and 20% road groomed. Last 5k'ish especially hurt, had to run walk it while Tiny pulled right ahead! Don't understand you buddy, your a tough mofo! I'll give intensity a 3 due to terrain. Hilton Falls Loop 1 - Meridian 0
C • Hilton Trail Run 4

Friday Mar 18

Note
(rest day)
Run with Tim tomorrow. Hilton Falls ~20km. Resting up.

Thursday Mar 17

Running 1:10:00 [3]
Average of a 3. First loop 2 and sencond loop a 4. Skipped Ronny this week and met up with Sudden, Hammer, Pillar and Bash at approximately the same time at the finish. Felt pretty good out there, good sign!

Tuesday Mar 15

Running 45:00 [2]
Heritage - Bruce side - Monarch- 1/4 Main loop and back out. Keep seeing Joany out there, pretty funny really!

Monday Mar 14

Running 40:00 [3]
Fast paced run. Felt pretty good this afternoon so maintained a good pace. Garth-Bruce Side/Chedoke radial-Paradise.

Sunday Mar 13

Running 1:00:00 [1]
Heritage Trail - Main Loop- Heritage. Trying to get the legs back into shape. Week off due to a cold, didn't want to be sick for a more then needed.

Sunday Mar 6

Running 30:00 [1]
(sick)
Went looking for Hammer and Sudden, missed them by 15min or so. Did one loop of the Thursday interval looking for them in the SW corner of Chedoke. Feeling like crap...sore throat and cold starting to brew-up. Bailed early or else i would have stuck around.

Saturday Mar 5

Note
Feel like i'm coming down with a little cold the past few days, so easing off (plus the bike show was today!). Will try a little snowshoeing on Sun. with Hammer and Sudden while they ski.

Thursday Mar 3

Running 1:00:00 [2]
Snowplowing at Chedoke with Hammer, Sudden, Griz, Fossil and OrienTired. Legs couldn't keep up in the snow, 2 laps only this week with the gang

Wednesday Mar 2

Note
(rest day)
No time for a run today, late class. Plus trying to save some legs for the Rally tomorrow. That will definately hurt.

Tuesday Mar 1

Running 1:20:00 [1]
Home-Chedoke-Warmup-Cool down-Home
Running intervals 40:00 [4]
Tough deep snow running with Hammer, Sudden and Fossil. Legs are toasted but good long training session today
Note
Legs should hurt tomorrow but at least i'll sleep like a baby. Left home 20 to 6pm and got home 20 to 8pm...didn't expect to be out for 2 hours!
