Decided to give this a go since I've been interested in it for awhile and finally heard actually good things about the studio close to me. Classes actually run for 90min and boy was that hot room steaming. Don't think i've sweat that much in a long time, almost too hot and was drenched when I came out. Yoga is actually tougher than I thought especially on some of the balancing poses. Not sure if i was engaging the right muscles at time since I was trying to learn the poses but definately know where I'm weak in the muscles from that class. Left side is so not strong. But I have a week pass to try out different classes and teachers so I'll give it a shot. Hoping this helps with running and flexibility and just something new to keep me busy.

Zero Carbon (aka the climate change run club). Tara decided to start a running group so it was her, Shawn, Kate and I for the inaugural run. Sweet Jebus Tara and Shawn are fast. Race pace run for me for 3/4 of the run and red lined a few times on the hills. I guess Shawn is training for New York and Tara for Vegas, not sure what I got myself into. Nosehill Park Loop.
