| Lunch with Hammer at the Phoenix then straight to the trails on a fat belly.
Was at Sherman Falls this morning with the niece and nephew for a 'hike' and thought it would be great to do my old bread and butter loop in the afternoon in the Valley (west DV Saturday loop). Felt strong right off the first hill and just went with it. Reaquanited myself with K2 and slapped her hard. Nice to be on trails that are not paved. Last run till next week since I'll be sitting on an island in Temagami till Tuesday. B:S ratio is about to skyrocket, likely in favour for the B. That's valid training right Wes?

| With T&K on the 'dog trails'. Legs felt pretty tired but the heat was killer. Sweating buckets. | ||

Below are some of the pictures from a hike from the Headwall/Chester Lake route via Fortress Peak in Kananaskis Country.
Here is my Flickr account for more pictures with descriptions Below are some video of a descent down a snowy scree slope. The second one is a post-holing/glisading session. Didn't mean to fall and thought I was going to seriously hurt myself. Didn't have anything to self arrest myself with if things got rough - luckily the feet dug in time before the rock. Oh to be young and dumb. Enjoy.
