Orienteering (SEJS Control Pick) 25:00 [3] 2.0 km (12:30 / km)

Did the control pick to start. It went well- I didn't get lost at any point but spent a while at no. 2 cos there wasn't a control there and I was looking for a control even tho i found the right site. And at no. 10 I don't think it was hung right cos i took a bearing off an obvious feature for relocation and didn't find it in the right place.

Orienteering (SEJS Relocation) 40:00 [3] 4.0 km (10:00 / km)

Julia ran me to a place on the map and i'd have to relocate and then find the control. Did this for 3 controls. It was quite hard but a useful skill to have.

Orienteering (SEJS Visualisation) 20:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)

Did half the visualisation course. It was good but was till finding it hard using a 1:15000 map, spesh cos it looks like it should be 1:10000.

Orienteering (SEJS Relay) 15:00 [3] 1.7 km (8:49 / km)

It was a team score but instead of dibbing we had to get letters off the controls and then they were an anagram of a control description. My team (apart from the coaches) won even tho we weren't all first back :)

PE (Rounders) 45:00 [2]

Started with a batting drill for like 10 mins. Then went into a game, i managed to play alright for once :) I got 3 rounders for my team!

Thursday Apr 23, 2009 #

Running warm up/down 29:00 [2] 2.41 km (12:02 / km)

Jogged around the outside of the field - 900m, could feel my legs ache already! Then a bit of stretching, then drills for like 20 mins.

Running (Intervals) 15:00 [5] 1.8 km (8:20 / km)

Did 50m sprint, 30 sec rest, 50m sprint, 30 sec rest, 100m sprint, 30 sec rest, 100m sprint, 30 sec rest, 150m sprint, 30 sec rest, 150m sprint. Then a 5 min rest and do it all again. We did this 3 times. The 50m sprint felt alright but the 150m sprint was really hard. My hamstrings really ached too.

Running warm up/down 5:00 [2] 0.3 km (16:40 / km)

Just did a 300m jog, not v good warm down and a bit of stretching too.

Note

Can't be bothered to back date my training diary from the JK and Spain etc. so decided I'd just start again from today!
