Orienteering (Control Hanging) 30:00 [3] ***

Hang some controls for HH junior training at Mardley. Then I checked Beckys. I think I was going quite fast and managed to get all my sites right which was good :)

Orienteering (Control Collecting) 5:00 [4] **

Did controls 1-5 on the course really fast and i felt really good running and map reading. But then I caught up with the last people on the course and they were quite slow.

Orienteering (Control Collecting) 15:00 [1]

Then did controls 5-9 quite slow as I caught up with Penny and Alice and they were walking and talking through everything so didn't get to do all the course as fast as I wanted to..

Orienteering (CAR) 30:00 [0] ***

This was an inside session and I was helping coach the CAR thing. Even though I was coaching them it was quite useful for me too! I was on a table with 2 girls and they had to choose routes for an orange and light green course whilst keeping in mind attack points-it was quite useful for me to focus on attack points too though :)

Orienteering (Control Hanging) 10:00 [4]

Had to hang 4 controls for the afternoon relay thing-was good as i did it fast and accurately, and I hadn't been on that area in the morning.

Orienteering (Helping) 30:00 [1]

Had to jog/walk around the area where my controls were and help the children if the were lost or something. Was a bit boring as I didn't see many people for ages. But i met some young kids having a picnic and i tried to explain what i was doing, not sure if it worked..

Orienteering (Control Collecting) 5:00 [4]

Had to collect my controls-did them all map memory as I'd been hanging round that area for ages! Was first back to the car with my controls :)

Note

Drove over to Tring for Dacorum & Tring training-but no one was there so we hang around for a while-but it wasn't on!

Circuits (Aerobic) 55:00 [3]

It was an aerobic circuits so v tough. Was a bit shorter than usual cos there was a fire alarm at the beginning so we lost some time, but over ran a bit at the end.
At the beginning I had a headache and felt really ill but after the exercise i felt better so that was good.
I did normal circuity things- after we had done one circuit we did this thing where you do 10 press ups, then jumped over some step up things, 10 squat thrusts and then jumped over the step up things again, and kept doing that for a while.
For the cool down we did a lot of ab work-it hurt!

I don't have time to do attack point properly atm, plus cba too! but i will put on training when I remember :)

Running 2:05:00 [3] 18.5 km (6:45 / km)

Went for a long run with mum again. We weren't going fast but we kept going (apart from when i got pain in my somewhere (it was like above my stomach ) and at the Ashridge visitor centre to go to the loo!)
Think it was about 18.5km as thats what we measured on the map so that was good and long- good for our Saunders training :)
