Orienteering race (White) 6:42 [4] ** 1.4 km (4:47 / km)
14c

Started by doing a white to warm up, it was good and simple orienteering but had to be quick and i got really good control flow.

Orienteering race (Yellow) 12:40 [4] ** 2.3 km (5:30 / km)
16c

Then moved onto the yellow course :) it went a diff direction to white so another chance to push myself and get good flow. did mess up one control but only v slightly just went a bit wonky across the field!

Orienteering race (Orange) 21:12 [4] ** 3.3 km (6:25 / km)
20c

Then did the orange slowed down a bit i think and it went through some housing areas which was a bit confusing but nice running.

ooh this was a HH Saturday series at Highfield park in St Albans.

Orienteering race (Sprint A) 3:49 [5] **** 0.55 km (6:56 / km)
16c

This was a really short sprint so it took loadsa concentration

Orienteering race (Sprint B) 4:00 [5] **** 0.66 km (6:04 / km)
18c

Another short sprint a bit more confusing than the other as there was like butterfly legs so the map was a bit confusing. but it was fun.

Running warm up/down 35:00 [2]

Warm up took ages today- started by jogging around the edge of the field then did some stretching-think i spent a bit too long on this!
then did drills as normal.

Running intervals (Dacorum & Tring) 18:37 [4] 2.0 km (9:19 / km)

This was a really tough session which i wasn't prepared for as normally there are a few different things and i was going to do an easy one as i have a bad cold but today everyone did the same thing.
We did 200ms with a 2min rest inbetween but that went down by 10 secs each time so it was 2 min rest then 1.50 rest etc.
so i started with a 38sec 200m then they were all 39secs until the last 3 which were 40, 41 and 44-then i knew when to give up! so the last rest length i had was 40secs which was v good for me!

Running warm up/down 5:00 [2]

Then did a slow jog around the the track as a cool down

PE (Softball) 45:00 [2]

Not so good as yesterdays softball-i went out relatively early but oh well when i did it i put in effort-i just forgot the whole swing at it's a strike rule. but it was nice to be outside so it was good :)

PE (Softball) 50:00 [3]

Played softball in PE today as they are still redoing the tennis courts-its taking ages! but it was really good, at first i didn't get the rules but then i did and i was the last person in on my team on both innings :)

Circuits (Weights) 1:00:00 [4]

Found this circuits really tough-but i think i puched myself more as I used 5kg for my static ones and like 3kg for the moving ones-which is good for me:) also i am still ill so that probs made it feel tougher!

PE (Rounders) 1:00:00 [2]

Had rounders after school-started by playing pair rounders, it was a bit like quick cricket and then had a short game-one bat each and you only ran 2 bases!

Note

Was going to do a hills session but ive got a bad cold so mum told me i should rest instead.

Orienteering (Short Brown) 1:29:07 [3] 8.1 km (11:00 / km)

Did the short brown at the Chiltern Challenge, it was really tough! Don't normally go that far when oing so was a change. There was too much undergrowth so it was hard to keep running, but i didn't really make a mistake just quite hesitant and tired.
