rode with daniel harris from my school. le mon start and i won :) then we had about a 10minute lap to do, quite technichal in places and ran a bit when it was real sandy and cut up. dropped heaps of time on the team in first place. coming into last lap when i went out we were neck and neck with the team in 3rd (jeremy and adam from avondale), attacked jeremy at the start of the lap because i knew he would pull time on me towards the end on the descent. ended up pulling about 30secs and held it until finish so we came 2nd in under 16. senior westalke team got 2nd behind st kents too.
at prizegiving mum won a raffle full of food and then mum drew the spot prize numbers and the first number out was mine so won amean as riding jacket :)
