road ride round taupaki, did four times 4minutes with Hr between 160 and 175. legs felt like absolute crap. they are really sore from cross country. im probly not going to do any running before north island road champs becuase my legs hurt the two days after running. i also got a new set of wheels , mavic siriums that weigh like nothing, tom and i are using them for races but i rode with them today to see what they were like and they were way faster than my other wheels.

went bayswater for TT practise again, legs were wasted from cross country, whenever i run i cant seem to walk or ride that well the next day. after north island road next weekend i have two weeks to switch from cycling to running for national o champs for schools. all right ride though and i still won the race to both climbs. the coach attacked me at the bottom of mt vic but i held his wheel and sprinted him at the top.. was pretty awesome!

rode on the windy, doing 4 times 4minutes of high ressitance, simulating climbs and two overspeeds just spinning out heaps, legs were good and i felt motivated as for orth islands!!!

got a good start, sitting about 5th for the first km, got dropped on the lower fields quite abit by the front bunch, just couldnt hold the pace as i havnt run in ages. got 13th in the end out of like half my form so around 200, and my house won so that was good!

school training and i rode with seniors. we went up the bays today, rather than going to bayswater for TT practise. i got rolled by the seniors on every climb(which there were lots of) and was really slow at descending because i didnt know the road or anything. didnt get dropped completely but was playing ctach up the whole time.

got the day off school so after training caught a ferry from devonport to the city with a couple of other cyclists from westlake, then we rode up cycle way and the cut of at greenhithe back to the north shore and i went back out the long way through taupaki to home. legs were dominated by the end of the ride but felt good during the rest of it. did a few little fun sprints with the other guys and felt mean as on them.

ride in riverhead, 4 times power sprints. did these all good on a section on a straightish section of road, then just did a ride around the roads in the forest, tracks were too muddy to even think about going near

rode in senior b because all the 7th formers were poked from the ball the night before.haha didnt pull massive turns on the front on the way out there and did some big turns on the way back especially towards the end. was smashed at the end but felt good with how i went.

easy ride round taupaki and stuff, jumped in bunch of pretty good guys for a while so HR was up a little bit. bunch was pretty pro with everyone on like bikes 3 times the value of mine but they were pretty bad still and couldnt climb to save themselves. turned off them after a while and went and practised 90degree corners at high speed because i found out north isalnd road cycling champs(in under two weeks) is a 3km square course, dead flat, with four 90degree corners and i do around 10laps or something. there is lots of crashes on the corners apperently so went and practised them out the back of kumeu.. good ride after my race this morning, legs felt it a little bit but i just eased off when they hurt.
