Saturday Sep 15

Course Setting 6:00:00 [1] ***
Hanging controls at Bear Creek Lake Park.
Note
When leaving a parking lot in one part of the park, I saw a falcon (from my car) very close up - it didn't seem scared. I thought it was injured, but then it flew off. I wish I had had my camera.

Thursday Sep 13

Running (Trail) 53:41 [4]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend
Run with Reuben at O Fallen Park. Long steep uphill at the start, plus another steep uphill mid run.

Tuesday Sep 11

Running 50:40 [4] 5.2 mi (9:44 / mi)
shoes: Asics (pair 3)
2 laps of Washington Park (clockwise). This is the first time I've actually managed 2 laps since Pikes Peak, although I was suffering a bit about 2/3 of the way through. Times were 25:10 and 25:30. Despite the temperature in the low 40's F this morning (and a high in the 60's F yesterday), the temperatures were in the 80's F.

Monday Sep 10

Note
An evening with OCAD trying trying to get a good layout for the maps for Sunday's event.

Sunday Sep 9

Hiking (High Altitude) 3:00:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend
This was an impromptu hike up Mt Bierstadt, but we turned round at around 13000 ft as it looked like a thunderstorm was coming in. Of course, by the time we got back down the top was in the sun.
