Orienteering 47:13 [3]****
shoes: Integrators pair 1
1st of two courses set by Ratlaf at Devil's Thumb, near Boulder. Very hilly, but the main problem I had was that the narrower trails were so thin on the map that I could hardly see them. This caused confusion at the 1st control.
Orienteering 46:19 [3]****
shoes: Asics (pair 3)
2nd course by Ratlaf. I found this more fun the first one, even though there was more climb.
Note
Some of us went for food afterwards, when we left it was snowing!

Course #1 - Splits

Course #2 - Splits

Friday Mar 21

Course Setting 3:30:00 [1]***
First trip to Cherry Creek State Park for the event in April. White course seems OK, but at one point I thought I was going to have to completely redesign yellow. Fortunately I managed to salvage about 50% of the course.
Saw lots of prairie dogs and rabbits. Weather was warm but windy. Still not up to full energy.

Thursday Mar 20

Run/Walk 1:05:04 [2]
(sick) shoes: Mizuno Wave Ascend
First "training" for a week, although I'm still not completely better, so walked a lot of it, and ran very slowly for the rest. At South Table Mountain. The most interesting thing about this run was the weather. It was warm (65-70 degrees F) and sunny when I left Denver. When I arrived at the trailhead, 15 miles away, 45 minutes later, it was cold (50 degrees F), very windy and threatening to rain (which fortunately it didn't). There was a very obvious front going through.

Tuesday Mar 18

Cycling 18:00 [2]3.15 mi (5:42 / mi)
(sick)
Still not well enough for training, but did take my bike to the shop for some much needed repairs.

Sunday Mar 16

Note
(sick)
Spent quite a bit of yesterday, and most of today asleep.
