Orienteering race 34:00 [3]

Bad day and bad race. Traffic was more than horrible in Brussels when I started. It took me 1hour and 5 minutes for the first 5 kilometers. First 500meters was 15 minutes...
When I finally reached the cc, I realised that I have only 2 hours to be back at home. That was sort of "there goes my concentration". I ran fast to the start, first and second control ok. Before the third control I lost my contact lens and after that I was half blind. I decided to quit and I ran straight back to cc. I didn´t have my glasses with me, so I had to drive back "half blided" as well.
I am very lucky that I am still alive...

In Helsinki. Temperature was -16 when I started and -21 when I was back at Hotel. Nice run. Helsinki is very good place to run. You can start running in the forest almost in the middle of the town.
